VISION AND MISSION
Manhattan Chamber Music is dedicated to inspiring and connecting talented young artists worldwide. Through a passion for beauty, curiosity and cultural exploration, MCM nurtures talent, enthusiasm and respect for diverse musical styles, guided by world-class musicians from around the world.
Since its founding in 2016, MCM has believed that the best way to foster passion for music is to connect with other musicians. Over the years, MCM has hosted a diverse array of artists from prestigious institutions like the Curtis Institute of Music and The Juilliard School as well as traditional Chinese musicians, jazz artists and South American Tango performers, including Grammy Award-winner Pedro Giraudo and renowned bandoneon players Emmanuel Trifilio and Koji Hirata.
Parents and students alike have shared how impactful and transformative these experiences with remarkable performers can be, boosting confidence and inspiring growth. At MCM, every performance is a chance to learn, connect and embrace the power of music.
MCM is currently in the process of formalizing its status as a non-profit organization. To strengthen our mission we are currently recruiting board members, including an accountant who speaks Mandarin and shares our passion for the arts.
