We’re proud to share one of the recordings from our two-week festival held from July 1–14 in Hangzhou, China.
The first week focused on classical chamber music, featuring works by Beethoven, Schubert, Dvořák, Haydn, and others. The session concluded with a concert where kids and faculty performed 13 pieces together in one evening.
The second week was all about the tango music. For many of these young kids, it was their first time exploring this vibrant and rhythmic style. We coached, rehearsed, and performed together, and every moment was filled with joy and inspiration.❤️
On the final day of the second session, we performed 22 tango pieces across two concerts in one day— 22 pieces!!!
Honestly, I’m still not sure how we pulled it off… but the kids’ passion for music carried us through…
